Kingston 55 - Akron-Fairgrove 48 - The Lady Vikings were leading by two points after three quarters, but Kingston found their offense scoring 20 points in the last quarter to pull away with the victory. Emily Chambers led Kingston with 18 points. Akron-Fairgrove was led by Alyssa Monchilov's 17 points, five rebounds, and four steals. Sarah Crane contributed 14 points and seven rebounds. The win improves Kingston's record to 2-1 overall and in NCTL-South play. The loss drops the Vikings to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the NCTL-North.

Frankenmuth 54 - Buena Vista 53 - Jenny McCain scored 19 points as the Lady Eagles evened their record at 2-2.

Boys Scoreboard

Cass City 56 - Mayville 41 - Justin Ketterer scored a game-high 31 points as the Red Hawks evened their record at 1-1. Mayville was led by William Henderson's 12 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Jordan Broadworth also contributed 10 points. Mayville falls to 0-2 on the season.

Reese 72 - Marlette 70 OT - Marlette tied the game up at the end of regulation after being down by seven at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Reese outscored Marlette 7-5 in the extra period to earn a victory in there first game of the year. Resse was led by senior Josh Pickell's 26 points, and Caleb Gnatkowski's 20 points. Ethan Stockmeyer contributed 11 points. Marlette's Nick Armstong and Kolby Lange each scored 20 points. Marlette falls to 0-2 on the year.

Harbor Beach 48 - USA 34 - The Patroits lost their first game of the year after only scoring 12 points in the second half. Dakota Gangler led USA with eight points.
