Celebrity Cagers


This week's Celebrity Cagers are as follows:

Millington - Rachel Lawe scored 24 points for the Lady Cardinals this week. Kyle Currie scored 29 points, including having six rebounds and six steals in their win versus Lakeville.

Akron-Fairgrove - Alyssa Monchilov scored 29 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, and had 10 steals as her team split their games this week.

Caro - Vanessa Taylor scored 19 points this week. Pat Bishop scored 30 points as the boy's squad split their games. Jared Vinson added 26 points.

USA - Miranda Fuerst scored 22 points in the week which saw her team pick up their first victory.

Vassar - Hilary MacKay scored 24 points in Vassar's only game this week - a victory over Marlette. Kayla Verbeek scored 15 points and grabbed 20 rebounds. Troy Hecht scored 10 points and 10 rebounds for the boys this week in their only game.

Marlette - Amara Wilson dropped a county-high 50 points this week as her Red Raiders lost two games. Nick Armstrong and Kolby Lange scored 20 points in their overtime loss to Reese.

North Branch
- Rayenne Kaiser scored 25 points during two victories this week, while Kayla Snoblen added 24 points. Chris White scored 31 points for the boy's squad including six 3-points baskets in both victories. Ryan Kosko scored 20 in the victory over Caro.

Cass City - McKensie Parrish scored 21 points as the Cass City girls dropped both games. Justin Ketterer scored a county-high 43 points as the boys split their games. Ketterer scored 31 points in their victory over Mayville.

Reese - Amber Gotham scored 16 points, dished out seven assists, and grabbed four rebounds in their only game this week. Jordan Kiser added 12 points and two rebounds. Sarah Spiekerman contributed with eight points and 10 rebounds. Josh Pickell scored 26 points in the boys overtime victory over Marlette. Caleb Gnatkowski added 20 points.

Mayville
- Chelsea Roehl scored 18 points in the girl's victory over Cass City. William Henderson scored 23 points in the boy's two losses.

This weeks Tabloid Celebrity of the week is ...... Amara Wilson for the girls. Even-though her team lost twice this week, it was not because of her performances - 26 points and 24 points respectively. The boys Tabloid Celebrity is North Branch's Chris White. His 31 points and six 3-point baskets led his team to 2-0 start on the season. Prepare for the paparazzi and congratulations.
