1st Monday 2010
Back from my two week sabbatical and looking forward to the rest of the basketball season. Here are the scores from Monday night. I would like to thank the Thumb Tailgater show for having me on the air tonight. If you missed the show I believe you can find an archive of the show on their website.
Girls
Port Hope 63 - Akron-Fairgrove 15 - The Lady Vikings fell to 3-4 overall and 3-3 in the NCTL-North. Sarah Crane scored seven points in the loss.
Kingston 40 - Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy 21 - Kingston improved to 6-1 on the season. Emily Chambers led the Lady Cards with 12 points and five steals. Abby Brzezinski added six points and 17 rebounds.
New Lothrop 68 - Millington 28 - The Lady Cards fall to 2-4 this season, while only averaging 34 points per game. Rachel Lawe led Millington with eight points.
Owendale-Gagetown 43 - Caseville 34 - The Lady Bulldogs improved to 3-5 overall and 2-5 in the NCTL-North. Christian Harris led the way with 13 points.
Boys
Kingston 70 - Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy 27 - Kingston won their third game in a row to improve to 3-2. Taylor Nicol led all scorers with 16 points. Josh Wenzlaff scored 14 points and added nine rebounds. Dustin Pennington added 14 points and seven rebounds, while Zach Campbell added two points and five assists.
