Busy Tuesday Night Schedule

I had some computer problems last week, and then I went to a conference over the weekend. Your Tuscola County daily basketball fix is back starting tonight. We will have all the scores and roundups as they come in. Here is tonights busy schedule:

Boys

Brown City 49 - Mayville 36 - The Wildcats stay winless as Brandon Harper scores 12 points.

Marlette 52 - Deckerville 41 - Marlette picked up their first conference victory while improving 4-5 overall. Brandon King led the way with 16, while Alex Storm added 11 points.

Vassar 46 - USA 35 - The Vulcans bounce back after suffering their first loss on Saturday night. Troy Hecht and Ryan Amend each scored 13 points. Vassar improved to 5-1 and 1-0 in the GTC-West. The loss drops USA to 3-4 and 0-1. Jake Holland scored 14 points for the Patroits.

Reese 57 - Bad Axe 50 - The Rockets improved to 3-2 and 1-0 in the GTC-West. Josh Pickell scored 15 points, grabbed six steals, and dished out eight assists. Ethan Stockmeyer had a double-double with 12 points and 19 rebounds.

BCAS 59 - Cass City 47 - The Redhawks dropped to 1-5 and 0-1 in the GTC-West play. Alex Varney led the way with 15 points. Justin Ketterer scored 12 points, while Jeff Mulrath added 11 points.

Dryden 27 - Kingston 24 - The Cardinals drop to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in NCTL-South play.

Owendale-Gagetown 66 - Port Hope 38

North Branch 64 - Yale 46 - The Broncos improved to 6-2. Kyle Cline scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Ryan Kosko had 16 points and seven rebounds, while Chris White scored 12 points and dished out five assists.

Frankenmuth 61 - Corunna 57 - The Eagles picked up their second victory of the season. Tim Faris led the way with 16 points and eight rebounds. Kent Redford scored 13 points. Luke Bade added 13 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Caro 58 - John Glenn 42 - Caro had three players with a double-double as they pick up their second victory this season. Jared Vinson led the way with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Tommy Matuszak had 16 points and 10 reounds, while Pat Bishop had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Millington 74 - Chesaning 60 - The Cardinals scored 30 points in the final quarter to secure their fifth victory on the year versus two defeats. Millington also had three players with a double-double. Matt Berlin led the way with 21 points and 16 rebounds (nine offensive). Kyle Currie scored 19 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out two assists. Josh Williams scored all 14 of his points in the second half. He also grabbed 10 rebounds and had three assists.

Girls

Chesaning 52 - Millington 37 - Millington falls to 2-6 overall at the hands of Tri-Valley mate Chesaning. Alexis Reinert and Rachel Lawe each scored 11 points to pace the Lady Cards.

Frankenmuth 49 - Corunna 42 - The Lady Eagles improved their record to 5-3 with their victory over Corunna. McCauley Mossner led Frankenmuth with 15 points and seven rebounds. Kelsey Ritter contributed 13 points, while Jenny McCain added 12 points and seven rebounds.
