Record Setting Monday in Tuscola County

In boy's action, the Bulldogs of Owendale-Gagetown hit a school record 17 three-point field goals on their way to a 99-52 victory over Caseville. The Bulldogs were led by Eric Montreuil's game-high 29 points, including seven three-point field goals. Brent Reil (23), Devin Prich (17), Ryan Francis (14), and Derek Bucholtz (10) all contributed in the victory. The win improves Owendale-Gagetown's record to 7-3 overall and 7-3 in the NCTL-North.

Kingston defeated Dryden 59-47. The Cardinals were led by Jordan Pennington's 18 points and 12 rebounds. Joe Strauel contributed with 10 points and four assists, while Taylor Nicol scored 11. Kingston improves it's record to 7-7 overall and 7-5 in the NCTL-South.

In girl's action, Arenac-Eastern beat Owendale-Gagetown 46-21. The Bulldogs were led by Amanda Faist's 13 points. The loss drops Owendale-Gagetown to 1-11 overall and 1-10 in the NCTL-North.

Frankenmuth lost to Saginaw Valley Lutheran 68-53. Jenny McCain had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Eagles. The loss moves Frankenmuth's record to 9-5.

Caro lost to Merrill 55-39. Lydia Koehler scored 17 points for the Tigers, while Amanda Ellis added 11. The Tigers record drops to 2-12.

Carollton beat Millington 72-36. The Cardinals Kayla Doshier scored 16 points in the loss. The loss drops Millington's record to 6-7.

In overtime, North Branch lost to St. Charles 37-35. Kayla Snoblen led the Broncos with 10 points. The loss drops North Branch to 5-8.
